Sipping a warm Turmeric Latte at the end of the day is the perfect nightcap! Honestly, this caffeine free treat can be enjoyed anytime – day or night.

Ingredients:
– About 2 cups (or 500ml) Milk (we use unsweetened plain almond milk)
– 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
– 2 tbsp Honey (or less if desired)
– 1/4 tsp Ginger Powder
– 1/4 tsp Cinnamon Powder
– 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
How To: First heat up the milk, stirring to add a little frothiness. Then add the spices and vanilla extract, stirring. Continue stirring to blend flavors until a rolling boil begins. Once the turmeric latte comes to a boil, it is ready to serve. You can optionally sprinkle on a smidge of black pepper to help your body absorb and utilize the turmeric better.

How Can Turmeric Support You?
I love Sayer Ji’s article on the ConsumerWellness site titled “900 Reasons Turmeric May Be The World’s Most Important Herb.” That title really says it all, but here are a few of the amazing health supporting, research backed benefits of turmeric:
- Heavy Metal toxicity prevention
- Battling drug resistant cancers
- Radiation protection (we all need that with the heavy load of non-native EMF’s we’re exposed to constantly)
- Anti-inflammatory
- Type 2 Diabetes prevention and support
- May be as effective as more than 14 pharmaceutical drugs
- Has been “empirically demonstrated to positively modulate over 281 different physiological pathways in the mammalian body“
- Degenerative Eye Disease
- Metabolic Syndrome
- Cholesterol Support
- Arthritis
- Anxiety
- Memory Support
- Pain relief
- Free radical fighter
- And probably at least 900 more!
“Again, what is so amazing is not that turmeric may have value in dozens of health conditions simultaneously, or that it may improve conditions that are completely resistant to conventional treatment, but that there are over nine hundred additional health conditions it may also be valuable in preventing and/or treating.”
